Kelly Wu is a Taiwanese-American illustrator, storyboard artist, and character designer in publishing and animation.

Her debut book, WONDERFUL GOODBYES (LBYR, 2024), is a tender and moving celebration of loss and everlasting love.

Kelly grew up in the bustling city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, before moving to rural New York, and has lived in seven cities thus far. Her work delights the intersection of nature and urban worlds, exploring relationships between identities and culture, and finding beauty in the mundane.

A 2022 graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she currently works in production at Marvel Animation while writing and illustrating children's picture books.
