Kelly Wu is a Taiwanese-American illustrator and character designer working in publishing and animation. Her debut book, WONDERFUL GOODBYES (LBYR, 2024), is a tender and moving celebration of loss and everlasting love.
She grew up in the bustling city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, before moving to rural New York, and has lived in seven cities thus far. Her work delights the intersection of of nature and urban worlds, exploring relationships between identities and culture, and finding beauty in the mundane.
Kelly graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2022. She now works in production at Marvel Animation and illustrate children picture books.
