Kelly Wu is a Taiwanese-American author-illustrator and concept artist from New York, based in Los Angeles. Her work explores identity, love, and family dynamics, highlighting the quiet beauty of everyday moments at the intersection of culture, nature, and urban life.
She is the author-illustrator of WONDERFUL GOODBYES (Little, Brown and Company, 2024) and the illustrator of THE GREAT PUMPKIN PANCAKE PARTY (Henry Holt, 2026), written by Celeste Pewter, IN THIS LIBRARY (Roaring Brook Press, 2026) written by April Jones Prince, and ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST (Algonquin Young Readers, 2027) written by Kate Messner.
Kelly graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. Previously at Marvel Animation, she is currently a Visual Development Apprentice at Skydance Animation.
